hey at least it tells you something you didn't know - unlike say "region blah removed - hide message" of course there are messages that give instance and port info, I didn't need to know them.
It tells you it broke, which is better than a twirling hourglass which goes on for five minutes followed by a connection timeout message. If you try again and it breaks again, its probably not worth trying a third time (at least for a few hours).

It serves to remind me that the move from APEX to Flash was a bad idea. So in that sense it is extremely valuable. :)
