There's a storm a brewin'

Seems as though DBASupport.com has compromised the presentation of their forums in order to accomodate advertisers and their own interests. Several members (myself included) have expressed their dislike of the new format. Join in on the discussion and tell us what you think.

I remember when they first changed from the small banner to the half a page of advertising at the top of the screen.

It sucks, but unless everyone changes wholesale toanother forum, like Dizwell, there's nothing you can do about it.

Perhaps google will buy it :)

I'd post on Dizwell more often if my proxy at work didn't deny it. The new forums will take some getting used to, I just don't know if it's going to turn enough of the regulars off so they don't visit.

I just lurk there, but frankly I think it sucks big time. There is really no reason why they can't move that crap to the bottom (other than the advertisers don't want their stuff at the bottom).
Having the threads scrunched up on the left is just awful. Nice that you can expand them, not nice you have to do it on every freakin' page. When advertising affects content, it is time to figure out what you truly want to accomplish.....

Just remembered, for the most part I use Firefox to block the ads, wonder if they realize that people actually block the ad content whenever possible?

Oh, I'm sure they do. Have you noticed more and more text ads and less flash ads?
